1 · What the service is
OpenVGal provides managed hosting for galleries built with the open-source OpenVGal engine. The service is provided as-is, with no uptime SLA. The engine itself is available separately under the MIT license and you may self-host it at any time.
2 · Payment and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed and invoiced by our payment provider. Prices exclude VAT and sales tax. See pricing for current plans.
3 · Acceptable use
You may publish only your own original photography or artwork, or work you are licensed to display. Illegal content is not permitted. We may suspend galleries that violate this clause.
4 · Data retention on cancellation
When a subscription ends or lapses, your galleries pause and your files are retained for 30 days, during which you can reactivate or download them. After 30 days the files are permanently deleted. The full timeline is described in the FAQ.
5 · Liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranties. We are not liable for lost data beyond the 30-day retention window described above. Keep your own copy of any work you value.
6 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and any dispute arising from them will be handled by the courts of Spain. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not remove the mandatory consumer protections of your own country, including any right to bring a claim before its courts.
